Jessica Ennis

After the huge disappointment of missing the Beijing Olympics through injury, Sheffield’s diminutive Jessica Ennis showed her tremendous talent last week in winning Heptathlon Gold at the World Athletic Championships in Berlin. Coming first in three of the events – including the high jump, not bad for someone 5’ 4” tall - not being outside the top 10 in any of the rest, and setting a new overall personal best points tally of 6731, at the tender age for this event of 23 she has quickly delivered on the promise shown since her junior days. London 2012 beckons, but surely before that there has to be a DVD telling the rest of us how to get a stomach like hers.
