Exmouth - one of England's oldest holiday seaside towns and the western gateway to the World Heritage Jurassic Coast.
Budleigh Salterton - situated at the mouth of the River Otter, is a historic traditional seaside town nestling on the edge of a unique pebble beach with the spectacular red cliffs in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Sidmouth - a picture book Regency town for coast and countryside. An idyllic holiday setting with an unhurried charm.
Seaton - Famous for its heritage tram railway, Seaton lies at the centre of the East Devon Jurassic Coast and is an excellent walking base for the South West Coast Path and East Devon Way.
Ottery St Mary - one of the oldest and most historic towns in Devon offers an ideal base away from seaside crowds, yet close to the World Heritage Jurassic Coast.
Honiton - has an historic reputation for lace making but today this is also a major centre for antiques, with some 30 shops devoted to furniture, art and second-hand books.
Axe Valley - unspoilt and tucked away in the south-east corner of Devon in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

- Exmouth has two miles of sandy beach with zoned swimming areas, beach rescue (main season), water sports, boat trips and beach hut / deckchair hire.
- Sidmouth has one mile of sand and pebbles with beach hut / deckchair hire, water sports, boat-trips and beach rescue (main season).
- Branscombe has two miles of pebble beach with motor boat hire.
- Beer has a lovely pebble beach surrounded by cliffs with boat trips, fishing trips and beach hut / deck chair hire.
- Seaton and Budleigh Salterton have wonderful pebble beaches with beach hut hire.
