The Old Post Office is situated in an ideal location; close to a number of exciting walks which offer fantastic views, with extremely pleasent pub's and Inn's along the way!
The site was clean, peaceful and well kept.
Although the usual owners weren't there, the relatives looking after the site were very helpful.
The only drawback to staying here, was that it was quite expensive for showers, and using the washers and dryers.....all are on timers and cost £1 a go(!)
The nearby 'Woodland Tearoom' was also a treat to visit!
However!!!.....if you are staying in the area, watch out for Hardnott pass...we learnt the hard way and thought it would be a nice drive to do....not at all good in wet, misty and windy weather!!!!! the 30 % gradients were almost enought to give me a cardiac arrest!
Overall an extremely well located and good site to stay at :O)
