Just ¼ mile away, Llanaber's golden sandy beach is perfect for relaxed summer days and brisk winter walks, and superb mountain walking, cycling on designated paths and a whole host of family attractions are all easily accessible. Dolgellau and Harlech, with its magnificent castle and championship golf course, are both 10 miles distant, and the nearby Fairbourne narrow gauge steam railway promises an unforgettable trip – accessed from the pedestrian ferry at Barmouth's harbour quayside. Shops pubs and restaurants are found in Barmouth (1 mile) and the town also hosts the Three Peaks race and a music festival in summer. Pub serving food 300 yards.
