Nothing can prepare you for the uniqueness of Dans Le Noir? It works like this; you meet in the tall-ceilinged entrance bar, put your phones and anything else that might emit light in a locker, then order from a short choice of rather fine French/international dishes. Or go for the 'surprise' menu where you don't know what you'll get. Then you're led through three sets of black drapes and to your table. You can't see a thing. Nothing. Leaving you to rely wholly on the remaining four senses, and the blind waiter or waitress assigned to you. You've never tasted food like this before, that's for sure. And because you can't see who's next to you, everday judgments and fears are removed and chatting to your neighbours becomes irresistible. An unforgettable experience that everyone should try.
