Zetter Restaurant & Rooms in London's hippest Clerkenwell is very hot and very cool. Yes, both. The décor of this reformed Victorian warehouse is a sleek, elegant, beautifully designed space with a curving black bar to gather round and giant sash windows for gazing through onto the local scene. In summer months, tables in St John's Square put you right in the middle of it all. The crowd is a lively combo of Brit artists and art students, stylistas, beautiful people, local workers, and A-listers. New chef Diego Jacquet – formerly of world renowned kitchens like El Bulli and Manhattan's Acquavit -- has broadened the Italian menu to include global influences while staying true to its warm Mediterranean heart. Wine list favours the Mediterranean and the Pacific. Make a point of asking the lovely, charming servers for a Kiwi Green Wow.
