Located near the town centre, Doncaster Museum & Art Gallery is full of exciting collections depicting various aspects of natural history, archaeology, local history and fine and decorative art.

There is a lively programme of temporary exhibitions in the Art Gallery throughout the year, as well as fun and informative special activities catering for visitors of all ages and abilities.

New permanent displays on local history can be seen following the extensive refurbishment of the Museum's ground floor gallery.

The Museum offers an enquiry service to the public (by appointment only) - objects can be brought in for identification but no valuations can be given!

The Museum shop stocks a range of postcards, souvenirs, books and items for children, including merchandise associated with the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry Regimental Museum (which is located in the same building as Doncaster Museum).
