This pub serves a lovely Sunday roast cooked by someone that cares! At this time (Nov 2011) the landlords wife - a lady approximately late 40's early 50's (sorry if I cause offence!) - does the cooking. Due to the lovely meals I highly recommend booking in advance. We have tried on the day bookings and we usually fail to get a place: that's how nice it is. This place is always recommended by word of mouth, hence why I am now putting it on the web! It's about time it was and a terrible meal in another pub has made me appreciate the Ashford Arms.
