A ride through countryside rich in beauty and natural history. Starting from the grounds of Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford, there are 3 great choices: a 25 mile route visiting Hanningfield reservoir and Danbury before looping north of Chelmsford on the return stretch or a 60 mile route heading north through Maldon to Layer de la Haye then turning south through Tiptree and Hatfield Peverel to rejoin the short route on its return to Chelmsford.
