More Information

A fresh food Restaurant with Five Bedrooms located in peaceful countryside only fifteen minutes from Bedford town centre We offer traditional but non stuffy hospitality and service with a friendly enthusiastic hand picked team serving freshly prepared food from local producers where possible, cooked to order at sensible prices in an atmosphere that complements our food.

Our menus are constantly changing offering a varied and intersting selection of Fresh Fish,Meat,Game and Vegetarian choices.

Once a Village Inn, the main building dates back to the 17th century and is a Grade Two listed building which still retains its original oak beams and Inglenook fireplace with bread oven. We have two dining rooms and a lounge with bar for pre or after dinner drinks. The larger of our dining rooms opens on to a private enclosed garden which, weather permitting, may be used to enjoy a drink or coffee. Either of our dining rooms can be used for small Weddings, Private Functions or Conferences.

In addition to our Restaurant we have a choice of five spacious bedrooms set in our peaceful gardens. Each indivdually furnished offering a place to unwind and recharge after a busy day if on a business trip, or if on leisure to just relax with good food and hospitality.
