The Bear Hotel, privately owned and managed, was originally a 16th Century Coaching Inn. Its great character of a bygone age has been carefully preserved in providing the comforts of the Twentieth Century.
Oak beams and open fires create a warm and inviting atmosphere. There is even a friendly ghost - Jasper - in the illuminated cellar garden, an unusual and attractive feature.
