Built in the early eighteenth century and turned into an ale house only a few years later; we are situated on the top of a hill in an area of outstanding natural beauty amidst some of the best countryside and with one of the finest views from any pub in the south of England.We are open for lunch and dinner every day except sunday evenings; with all dishes freshly prepared. To accompany either a light lunch or more indulgent evening meal we offer Cask Marque accredited real ales and a varied wine list.Accommodation is available in our four en-suite letting rooms either for a mid-week business trip or weekend breaks with full english breakfast included.
