More Information

The hotel dates back to the Jacobite era, and was originally built as a Coaching Inn around 1720. It is situated in the village looking across Arisaig Bay towards the Isles of Eigg and Muck. Set on the scenic Road to the Isles, Arisaig is 35 miles from Fort William, and 8 miles from Mallaig (the ferry terminal for Skye). The hotel offers 13 ensuite bedrooms (2 single, 6 double, 3 twin, 2 family), all tastefully furnished and decorated. All rooms are centrally heated and have a direct dial telephone, remote control colour television, coffee and tea making facilities. Most bedrooms have sea views. All bedrooms are non-smoking. The hotel is open all year with the exception of December 24th, 25th and 26th. Why not celebrate the New Year with us? We also cater for small conferences or meetings from October to March. RESTAURANT & BARSWe serve lunches and evening meals in our newly refurbished bar & snug. Breakfast is served in the restaurant. The restaurant is also available for functions; it has a seating capacity of 40. All food is freshly prepared drawing on the area's natural produce, with emphasis on seafood. We have a separate Children's Menu. Please let us know when you book if you require any special diets (vegetarian, vegan, etc.) and we will endeavour to do our best to cater for them. Families are very welcome as we have 2 family rooms and hold a children's certificate for the lounge bar. Our playroom is well equiped with a variety of toys and games to amuse children of all ages. The hotel is fully licensed and has 2 bars offering a range of around 70 malt whiskies. Morning coffee and afternoon tea are served daily in the lounge, accompanied by delicious home-made scones.
