The Feathers Royal Hotel has a strong tradition of hospitality. As the focal point of the picturesque Georgian seaside harbour town of Aberaeron on the beautiful Cardigan Bay Coast, the hotel was originally built in 1815 by William Lewes of Llanaeron as a coaching inn offering food and shelter to travellers and locals.
The Charming town of Aberaeron is famous for its Georgian elegance with brightly painted town houses and an attractive seaside quay. It has a strong maritime tradition and today is still a centre for rural communities in Ceredigion.
Re opened to coincide with Aberaeron’s bicentenary celebrations in 2007 the hotel has now been painstakingly restored to its former glory. Whilst retaining the architectural and decorative features of the original Inn, the Feathers now meets the exacting standards of comfort, hospitality and cuisine expected by the modern traveller.
It is our wish to extend a very warm welcome to all of our guests. Along with our team of staff our aim is to make your stay a memorable experience. We run an independent hotel and so believe in the friendly approach with the personal touch. Our aim is to offer you the warmth of Cardigan Bay hospitality and then see you return to us in the near future.
