The B&B is located in the Bishopthorpe Road area of York, just 400 yards from the medieval city walls. This is a quiet place where you can park your car using the B&B’s free permits and take a pleasant stroll along the river into the city. It is just a 10 minute walk to the city centre, where you can enjoy all the attractions that this historic city has to offer. Dalescroft’s quiet but convenient location means that the railway station, racecourse and all of the city’s amenities are within walking distance.

Originally built in 1908 for the management of the world famous York Rowntree's chocolate factory (now owned by Nestlé), this fine example of a Victorian town house was recently refurbished and sympathetically decorated to the original Victorian décor and theme by the present owners.
