Attraction in Kendal
The park extends over much of cumbria and is famous for being immortalised by many poets and artists. In truth it has been a very popular destination for the British for many years and its admin offices are based in Kendal. The Lake District National Park is England's largest and covers 2292 square kilometres (885 square miles)
