16th century award winning coaching inn a 30 second walk from Shropshire's jewel Ellesmere lake with plenty of wildlife and walks for you to enjoy. A 2 minute walk into the market town of Ellesmere and the Shropshire union canal. Meals available all day every day noon-8.30pm. A mixture of standard,en-suite and deluxe rooms available,all rooms with tea/coffee making facilties and tv/video and free use of our video libary.Residents may also enjoy free use of 4 mountain bikes to explore the local area.We added two more rooms in August 2005,these are are ground floor rooms with walk in showers and are for disabled people,take a look at our updated website to view a video of the inn. ellesmere.info/redlion
