We know that not everyone wants the same thing from a pub. You might want a pint of local real ale and a pasty at the bar.. A bottle of wine and a grazing slate on the sofas.. A meal in the dining room.. A really good coffee.. Take your pick.

If real ale is your thing, look no further. We are offering Adnams as our session bitter accompanied by its big brother, Adnams Broadside (for those of you who like to savour their pint!). Once we are a little more settled We will also be showcasing some regular guest ales.

We‚re passionate about wine and have created a list which offers a selection of old favourites combined with some more unusual and quirky wines. The common theme is that we believe they are all well made wines offering good value for money.

On the food side, the emphasis will be on good quality, seasonal produce and, wherever possible, we will source our food locally. We love Sunday lunch and plan to offer a great roast - bring the family or meet some friends and catch up on your week.

We‚ll be open from noon until late. So if you‚re in need of a fairtrade organic coffee in the afternoon, you'll know where to come. You may already be familiar with our Espresso Pronto coffee from Cornhill Walk (yes, that's us too!).
