Built in 1650 the Grade II Old Post House is in the beautiful and peaceful village of Great wishford near to the river Wyle (great fishing) and in the middle of a conservation area. The village has two good pubs which do evening meals. We are midway between Salisbury (5 miles) and Stonehenge (7 miles) and also convenient for Avebury, Stourhead, Longleat, Wilton House and Bath. We have three clean and pretty en-suite guest rooms and a prize winning sheltered garden which you are welcome to enjoy.

The old Post House is a relaxed and friendly family home in a beautiful part of the country and an ideal base from which to explore the area
