Origins provides the relaxed atmosphere of a modern wine bar where discerning customers can meet for drinks and interntional tapas food both lunch times and evenings as an alternative to the „pub style‰ bar. Fine wines and champagne by the glass is served along with a range of cocktails. Also chilled bottled beers are served but no „draught‰ beers or lagers. No expense has been spared on the new interior design which gives contemporary classic feel, with pastel lighting and gentle background music. In the courtyard The Coach House has been restored and converted into an Art Gallery for leading local artists to exhibit their works. This is consistent with the desire to make the whole site a cultural oasis in the centre of one of England‚s greatest villages. The Coach House can also be used a function room for small receptions. In addition B&B letting rooms are also available. Finally the gardens, which roll onto the village green, have been fully restored for the first time in nearly 40 years, and provide a beautiful setting to enjoy a drink outside with a fine view of The Chilterns.
