The Heather Glen Country Hotel is an elegant late Victorian Mansion set in 2 1/2 acres of old English gardens. Situated deep in the beautiful countryside of the Eden Valley, yet only 10 mins drive from the M6 Motorway.

The Hotel is fully licensed and open throughout the year offering that little extra warm, comfort, cosy seating and lavish carpeting .It's wealth of paintings, wall hangings and ornaments give that feeling of luxury associated with 5 star accommodation.

Fully central heated with traditional open fires in both the residents hall/lounge and lounge bars . Early evening, bar meals are served. There is also an extensive a la carte menu available all cooked by our 'in house Chef 'Robert'. The elaborate oak paneled restaurant can comfortably seat up to 100 people, it is an ideal setting for conferences, wedding receptions, business entertaining, parties etc.

The Hotel offers accommodation for those who wish to spend a few days in the peaceful atmosphere of the Eden Valley, yet ideally situated for touring the Lake District, Hadrians Wall, Carlisle 'The Great Border City' with its Castle Museum and Cathederal only 20 mins away by car. Not forgetting Gretna Green and the Scottish Borders
