One of the finest eating places in York, D.C.H - the restaurant at the Dean Court Hotel, offers a superb range of dishes cooked in the Modern-English style and has won awards for its use of local produce. The Restaurant has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for 2005/6 - and has the most enviable locations - inthe very shadow of York Minster. Sunday lunch at £16.75 is great value and features Roast Sirloin of Yorkshire - reared Beef carved at your table. Booking for the Sunday lunch is essential. Dinner reservations advised but always call in if you can't book ahead The Hotel also launched an all day Cafe-Bistro in 2005 - a truly Bistro menu served in stunningly designed and air-conditioned comfort.
