This delightful 16C Restaurant with Rooms was originally a Salt House used by the Benedictine Monks who traded Salt at Exeter Cathedral. Set in the unspoilt natural beauty of Devon this area has lots of hidden secrets. The sea is 2 miles away, down the famous "Byes", at the regency town of Sidmouth set on the magnificent Heritage Coastline. You can explore Dartmoor, the Cathedral city of Exeter or antique centres of Honiton or Topsham all of which are an easy drive away. A wealth of Golf Courses, National Trust Properties and Gardens surround us, and the famous Donkey Sanctuary is only a mile away.

Privately owned from 1999, Annette & Andy Witheridge invite you to choose from one of our individually decorated bedrooms, maybe one with a Spa, hydro massage shower or a king size water bed. Unwind in the intimate and relaxing atmosphere where a dedicated team provide a personal level of service which is quite outstanding.
