The ASHA Centre at Gunn Mill House is a magnificent Georgian country home with exquisite decor and refurbished outbuildings of the highest standard. Set in extraordinary unspoilt countryside, within the Royal Forest of Dean, we offer luxurious ensuite B&B and modern self-catering facilities in our five acres of bio-dynamic fruit and vegetable garden supplying our kitchens, landscaped lawns and an Olde English rose garden. The Centre offers a Gallery Room for meetings, with IT facilities, an excellent library and a beautifully furnished drawing room with TV, DVD, video and an open log fire. A millstream runs through the grounds to the ancient mill, listed as a Monument by English Heritage. The 27,000 acres of Forest offer endless opportunities for walking, pony-trekking, cycling, or admiring the spectacular countryside and the Wye Valley and River Severn. Gunn Mill stands on the crossroads between Flaxley, Littledean and Mitcheldean in Gloucestershire. A Mill has stood on this site since 1300.Nearby lies Flaxley Abbey, built by Milo, Earl of Hereford, a counsellor to William the Conqueror. The ASHA Centre is unique in that all profits from your visit go directly to empowering young people from disadvantaged and divided communities to become dynamic agents of positive change.
