We are a small friendly hotel on the outskirts of York, but close enough to be able to access all that York and the surrounding area has to offer. York Racecourse is only 10 minutes away by car and the rest of the city’s attractions are equally close by. Set in lovely gardens and with a large car park, with a cosy bar area and restaurant, we are sure you will have a lovely relaxing stay with us.
For your overnight stay, the Red Lion offers 18 well-appointed bedrooms – a number of which have been recently refurbished and include 4 spacious family rooms. At the Red Lion, we have a fantastic bar area, and have recently introduced our new food menu, featuring a great range of homemade pub dishes.
