Trewan is a 300 year old traditional granite cottage on the edge of Dalbeattie Forest, with immediate access to the forest and the 7 Stanes Mountain Biking Trails.
In addition to cyclists, Trewan is ideal for individual and groups of artists, with a local artist willing to accompany you to the inspiring beaches nearby. On rainy days, a well-lit studio is available above the garage.
Your day will get off to a great start with a hearty cooked Scottish breakfast or a choice of a Continental menu, in the large farmhouse style kitchen, deliciously cooked on the Aga, at a time to suit if an early start is required. Ingredients will be sourced from local suppliers including an award winning butcher.
Walkers and cyclists will particularly enjoy the twin beds, which are 'adjustamatic' massage beds, a luxury for those who are exhausted after an energetic days cycling or walking in Dalbeattie Forest or exploring the main attractions of Dumfries and Galloway.
