An historic former private house, The Bell House makes for an excellent base for exploring the West Country and the Cotswolds. In addition it is situated only 10 minutes from Chippenham, 15 minutes from Swindon, 20 minutes from Bath, 30 minutes from Bristol and 50 minutes from Cheltenham. There are lots of wonderful country houses in the vicinity, including Bowood and Badminton; motor racing at Castle Coombe; Badminton Horse Trials and the ancient stones at Avebury.

The Bell House offers a non-smoking restaurant, as well as large gardens for al fresco dining.
