Founded by William Hamley in 1760 in Holborn and the Regent Street store IN LONDON was opened by Williams Grandsons in 1881 during the reign of Queen Victoria. Although bombed 5 times during the 2nd world war nothing has prevented this shop from becoming the most famous toy seller in the world.
