We used to live in West Byfleet and always used this restaurant as our 1st choice when eating out. Now we have moved away we still visit friends and neighbours and last Saturday visited the Trevi again. Much to our disappointment, the starters are much more expensive but the real complaint is the accompanying vegetables with the mail course or should I say singular veeitable. The vegetable tray they brought up for the 4 of us would barely suffice 1 person. I had one and half saute potatoes and 3 mange tout. When I mentioned this to the manager later he said it was my fault I should have mentioned it earlier. This was later followed by the "heavy" chef coming out to make further remarks. Our fellow guests said they had noticed how the portions had deminished. No attempt was made to make amends so we will be going to the Maybury of Anchor pubs next time.

Friends had booked it for an early Christmas get together. The restaurant was clearly over crowded and they gave our pre-booked table in the private room to another party before we arrived and refused to move the other group. As a consequence they had to extend a table for 12 and it then became apparent that I was seated in a place where I would have to get up every time somebody wanted to come in or leave the restaurant. This was clearly not acceptable and when I complained to the manager he was rude and abusive and reduced me to tears. Apparently I was being unreasonable! The only reason I stayed was so as not to upset the rest of the party but my evening was ruined and I should have left because I kept having to see the rude man who had shouted at me and I found it very upsetting.
Don't eat here until they have a chance of management!

I very much enjoyed the deep pan stuffed crust that the celebrity chef prepared at my table. This is the most high class restaurant in byfleet. The local kebab van, run by celebrity TV chef 'THE TURK', is very worried now.
If you have a girl that you want to impress then they will look after her for you.

A real gem, we found it by chance for lunch, it is obviously popular and not surpisingly has earned its reputation locally by word of mouth. Genuinely warm and friendly service, uncomplicated menu with consistently high standard of food. We had the oxtail, rich, rendolent of hours of slow cooking. Decor is light, modern and comfortable. The owner and his family's many years of experience in the business of providing first class Italian food in a relaxed environment shows.
