We stopped at the Cross Keys for three days with our dog The rooms were clean tidy & warm with plenty of hot water all day. We stopped in the garden rooms ,they had fantastic views the bed was a very firm but we could cope. The pub & all the staff were brilliant, the free WiFi was only available in the games room but this was being rectified . Tony the landlord could not do enough to make our stay comfortable, the food was extreamly tasty and very well priced. We would not fail to recomend this inn to all our friends and family thanks for a great stay :o)

we stayed at the cross keys last week and found the food was very good the staff very friendly and the building was lovely but the rooms were very dated and in need of modernising there was no heating and no hot water in the mornings

We found the Cross Keys by accident when we were looking for B&B for the night. The food was nice but we had a bit of a wait before it arrived. The bar staff were friendly. The room we stayed in on the other hand was disappointing. It didnt feel very welcoming and the decor left a lot to be desired, it just looked like it was a last minute job. I am an early riser and found he couldnt get out of the building as the door through to the pub area was locked and the fire escape was alarmed. I therefore felt very trapped in the morning.
