Burton on the Wolds is set in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside,surrounded by the rolling acres of Prestwold Hall Country Estate, venue for Wedding and Corporate events and site for Everyman Track Days, it is a delight for walkers, riders, bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts, Burton ranks high amongst the many charming Wolds villages including Walton on the Wolds,Wymeswold,Prestwold,Hoton and Cotes,with a pretty mix of cottages,churches,village shops and inns,a little rural idyl completed by Barrow on the river Soar with it's locks and canal boating.
