for Colchester Christmas Fair as your favourite British event.

This famous one day event attracts over 12,000 people each year, and it’s the only day of the year where you can walk along Colchester's historic High Street without traffic.

The market starts at 10.30am and closes at 5pm. At 11am there is the traditional ‘cake hurling’ by the mayor from the Town Hall gallery. Catch one and be lucky for a whole year!
