Signed for Leicester as scrum half in 1996. Made his England debut in 1997, winning a total of 51 caps. Retired at the end of the 2005/6 season. Known for being fiercely competitive and outspoken gaining the nickname The Leicester Lip. Works as a BBC analyst.
