The village of Weston on Avon in Warwickshire is on the edge of the Cotswolds about three miles south west of Stratford on Avon. Weston on Avon is probably best described as a charming riverside village with a number of beautiful thatched cottages and an old village church. The church, All Saints Church, dates from the late 15th century with some later additions and was restored in the late 19th century. Surrounded by the open countryside of the area with the River Avon in close proximity this is a popular location for those wishing to enjoy the local countryside and is an ideal location for those wishing to travel around the Heart of England. Stow on the Wold and Broadway are both in easy travelling distance whilst the larger towns of Stratford on Avon and Warwick are relatively easy to access. It goes without saying though that Weston on Avon has a charm all of its own and is surely a place to visit if you are in the area.
