Cardington

Cardington near Church Stretton in Shropshire is a charming conservation village set among the Shropshire Hills in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It has a great community spirit, the lovely old church of St James and an excellent pub, the Royal Oak, part of which dates back to the 1400s.

The village is close to Wenlock Edge and half an hour from the heritage sites at Ironbridge,as well as Shrewsbury and Ludlow. It is an ideal centre for those interested in walking or just enjoying the countryside
