Cardington near Church Stretton in Shropshire is a charming conservation
village set among the Shropshire Hills in an area of outstanding natural
beauty. It has a great community spirit, the lovely old church of St James
and an excellent pub, the Royal Oak, part of which dates back to the 1400s.
The village is close to Wenlock Edge and half an hour from the heritage
sites at Ironbridge,as well as Shrewsbury and Ludlow. It is an ideal centre
