Offering one double room, and an additional sofa bed for a child, it is situated at the end of the driveway with no passing traffic or pedestrians – it is truly an escape from reality. Set in 40 acres of Dartmoor National Park, visitors are welcome to explore at their leisure and meet the sheep, Dartmoor ponies and wildlife. For more walking there is no need to take the car; there are endless walks from your doorstep. The historic market town of Tavistock is just 10 minutes away, where there is a fabulous pannier and farmers' market. Head across the moorland towards Okehampton, or visit the natural waterfalls at Lydford Gorge, before heading to the north Devon and north Cornwall coastline. Alternativly head south to the famous maritime port of Plymouth, 30 minutes by car, or explore the coast of south Devon and Cornwall. The cathedral city of Exeter is a mere 45 minutes by car.
