Each of our specially designed, 4-star Scandinavian-style lodges are spacious, fully accessible and equipped for wheelchair users, and offer spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. Located in two positions, our hillside lodges offer stunning panoramic views, and burnside lodges are in closer proximity to the main centre. Hillside lodges offer 2 twin and 1 double bedroom each, and all burn side lodges offer three twin rooms, one of which has an overhead ceiling hoist, a fully accessible family bathroom with entry level showers, grab rails and seats, height adjustable sink and baths, plus separate toilet, a large open-planned lounge, dining and kitchen area, and furnished patio or veranda. Each is fully equipped with everything you could need – from HD DVD player, 32†HD flat screen TV, digital stereo with iPod docking station and telephone, to washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, crockery, cutlery, and all bedding - there’s even height adjustable work tops, sink and hob to make life that bit easier! Cots, highchairs and cotsides are available on request, and all bed linen supplied but not towels. Self-catering guests also have free use of our hydrotherapy pool (booking required) and for a small fee, the sauna. We also have a fully licensed bar, a pre-bookable takeaway service, and DVD library. Pets are welcome in certain lodges for which there is an additional fee. Activities From the centre site we offer archery, climbing (indoor and out), abseiling, zip wire, king swing, golf buggying and orienteering (indoor and out), and from our boathouse, sailing, canoeing, motor cruising and kayaking – there’s even a Saturday night BBQ in summer -weather permitting! Self-catering guests are welcome to join the outdoor activity sessions subject to availability and additional fees. Alternatively, mountain bikers can experience the new, off-road, 17km trail at Kielder Water & Forest Park.
