Ravensbury is a warm and friendly family run hotel offering a great location on the Pentire peninsular Fistral beach to the front of the hotel and the Gannel river and Crantock beach to the rear of the hotel. We are ideally situated on the beautiful Pentire Headland with fabulous views of Fistral Beach. We are approximately 15 mins from the town, while there is a regular bus service which passes the hotel, or you can call our local taxi service. Most of our pleasant rooms are en suite, some offering fantastic sea views, and all offer excellent high quality bed linen and beds to ensure you have a relaxing stay with us. There's plenty for everyone to do in Newquay: surfing, diving, fishing, horse riding, golf, and walks along the many sandy beaches and rugged coastal paths. For the children there is Newquay Zoo, Newquay Waterworld, The Oasis Fun Pool, riding on fabulous 'bomb proof' children's ponies provided by Trenance Riding Stables, and also the Blue Reef Aquarium where they have a fantastic variety of fish. The Eden Project and a variety of family theme parks are only a short drive away which would provide a good day out for all the family; or you could just spend the day relaxing on one of Newquay's beautiful sandy beaches. The Ravensbury is situated 200 yd away from Fiatral beach where the World Surfing Championships take place and Newquay’s 18-hole golf links and pitch and putt are just a short walk away. Our beaches are huge tracks of golden sand and secret caves, washed clean by the atlantic at every tide. We have dramatic landscape and a pretty harbour. Glorious gardens flourish in Cornwall's mild climate, and there are magnificent ones to see all year round. We can provide a high-chair and travel cot, but please note we have only one of each. The Hotel has limited car parking for guests. We are a no smoking hotel and regrettably we are unable to accept pets.
