The Crown and Thistle lies at the centre of the market town of Abingdon. It is a traditional 17th century coaching inn surrounding a cobbled courtyard. The hotel is a listed building with recently refurbished bedrooms, bar and restaurant.
There are 19 en suite bedrooms giving a mix of single, double and twin bedded rooms as well as two four poster bedrooms. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, satellite TV and direct dial telephones.
The Gallery Restaurant offers a range of British and continental dishes. The restaurant is stylish but informal and includes a comfortable residents' bar. The Gallery Restaurant is also ideal for larger private events such as weddings and parties of up to 80 people. The Jubilee room caters for private parties of up to twelve.
