Taunton – Somerset's County Town – and Honiton, with its history of lace making and now a wonderful centre for antiques, are both a short drive away. On the Heritage coastline, the resorts of Lyme Regis, Seaton, Branscombe, Beer and Sidmouth are within easy reach, as are Killerton, Montacute and Barrington Court (all N.T) and the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton.
