On the fringes of the Snowdonia National Park, this recently renovated 19th century cottage was once home to the gardener for nearby Gwydir Castle. Set in its own grounds and enjoying glorious views over the Conwy Valley, it offers walking on waymarked forest paths from the door. Just 2 miles south, at the meeting point of the Llugwy and Conwy rivers, are the craft shops and outdoor activities of scenic Betws-y-Coed village. Trefiw's wool mill and Roman spa are also 2 miles. Pub, shops and railway station 1 mile.
