Nestling in rural tranquillity between Penrith and Alston, and commanding spectacular views to the beautiful Eden Valley and distant Lake District, this tastefully converted chapel makes a stunning holiday base. Full of character, its original features harmoniously blend with modern comforts and two mezzanine floors enhance the feeling of space.

The nearby Eden Valley's many walks are a joy to explore and welcoming country pubs abound, whilst Langwathby, for scenic rail trips on the Settle to Carlisle line, is 5 miles distant. Alston, a delightful market town and the highest in Britain, is about 15 miles away as are the large selection of shops in Penrith, from where a short drive leads visitors to the famous Rheged Centre with its Imax cinema, exclusive shops and cafés selling Lakeland produce. Glorious Ullswater's lakeside walks and steam boat trips, and the northern lakes and fells are all also easily accessible. Pub ½ mile, shop 4 miles.
