Clustered round the bustling harbour, from where a little narrow guage railway carries passengers the 1 mile to and from the sandy beach (pictured), are shops, ice cream parlours, cafés and a famous whelk stall, whilst pubs, restaurants and a theatre are a short walk. Light railway trips to Walsingham. Holkham Hall, bird reserves and seal watching boat trips are all nearby.
