Set in the heart of Cheshire; Acton Bridge is a small village which has not been spoilt by over developemnt. Walks through the village offer a variety of scenery from rural fields and the Weaver valley to the industrial architecture of Acton swing bridge; Dutton Locks and the impressive sandstone viaduct carrying the railway line over the river Weaver. The guest house was originally a barn for Wall Hill Farm; which is a grade 2 listed building. This 300-year old brick built traditional Cheshire barn; which forms part of the old farm yard; was converted in 2009 to form a 7-bedroom guesthouse offering luxury accommodation in a rural setting. All rooms are decorated to a very high specification and furnished with flat screen colour televisions; writing table; central heating and hair-dryers. The rooms have a hospitality tray and bathrobes for your use. Enjoy our full English breakfast including our own organic free-range eggs; laid by the chickens; which can be seen in the field at the rear of the guesthouse.
