You will be eating at the only restaurant outside of London supplied by the famous 'Ginger Pig' farm/butchery which is just 7 miles from the inn and looked after by the friendly professionals with an eye for detail, leaving you free to recharge your batteries.

There will be arrival tea and coffee being served in our cosy bar and lounge. Settle in for the afternoon and read one of the up to date glossy magazines or daily newspapers. Perhaps you prefer to stretch your legs, a gentle stroll up to the ancient castle, originally built by William the Conqueror; is only a 5 minute walk away. Dinner is served in the bar, lounge or restaurant and its customary to have a pre-dinner drink in the bar while looking over menus. Feast on the award winning food, awarded an AA rosette since consistently since 1997 & as featured in the independent Good Food Guide.
