Moyness House dates from 1880 and is the former home of the acclaimed "Scottish Renaissance" novelist, Neil M Gunn. It is an immaculately restored Victorian villa now offering luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation in a choice of 6 stylish and comfortable en suite bedrooms. This beautiful period home combines historic charm with every contemporary comfort, including free wireless connection in all parts of the house, a wide choice of digital TV channels, CD players and DVD players. Moyness House is ideally located in a quiet residential street just a few minutes walk from the city centre, with several excellent restaurants, Eden Court Theatre complex, and the riverside all very nearby. There is ample parking within the grounds, and a peaceful and secluded walled garden for guests' enjoyment. For the comfort of the majority of guests, smoking is not permitted in any part of the house.
