The Old Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast is an excellent base for: York, Easingwold, Thirsk, Northallerton, Ripon, Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Park

The Old Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast located in Raskelf, just 2.5 miles from the market town of Easingwold and 13 miles from the historic splendours of York, is an ideal base for this lovely part of North Yorkshire with the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors National Park, ‘James Herriot Country’, Castle Howard and an abundance of National Trust and English Heritage properties all within easy reach.

The Old Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast has enjoyed its position on the village street for several hundred years and has recently undergone a sympathetic programme of renovation to further equip it for the 21st century, whilst retaining its character and charm.

Visitors are welcome to relax in the Guest Lounge or observe village life from the pretty front garden. A short stroll in the village will take visitors past the old red brick Pound or Pinfold, dating back to the 17th century (used historically to keep stray cattle and sheep in safety until claimed back by their owners), to the beautiful church of St Mary with its 15th century wooden tower, unique in Yorkshire.
