Our restaurant is open to residents and non-residents, and is, we hope, totally unique. We specialise in old Kentish cuisine, and we've resurrected some amazing dishes that haven't been served in the county for years. Kent is famous for its orchards and hop gardens, and in the past, cooks have worked with some amazing combinations of food. Lamb and Apple Pie is an absolute delight, as is Salmon with Strawberry Sauce. Then there's Kentish Huffkins - and the amazing, mouth-watering Kentish Well Pudding - not to mention Hop Pickers Pie. All our dishes have one thing in common - they're freshly prepared at the farm - and you would have seen any one of them in a farmhouse kitchen a hundred years ago. Come and taste of Kent of yesterday!
