St Anne's is a listed early 18th century former wool merchants house in the heart of Painswick. A traditional English country home interior with antiques; a log fire and relaxed family atmosphere. We have three guest rooms and are within easy walking distance of pubs and restaurants offering meals from the simple to the gourmet.Activities: Take a stroll through the winding streets of Painswick and browse the quirky shops; antiques; fabrics; books; hand made clothes and jewellery; woodwork and much more. Explore the romantic Rococo gardens with acres of magical woodland; secret hideaways and great homemade cakes! Take a walk up to the prehistoric fort on the Painswick Beacon and look down over the river Severn and across to Wales. Breakfast: We provide a large; varied; wholesome breakfast with many locally sourced; organic ingredients. Free range eggs and meat; organic dairy produce and homemade breads and jams.Location: St Anne's is situated on the Cotswold Way long distance footpath and in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We especially welcome walkers; cyclists and all nature lovers. Pick ups/drop offs and luggage transfers can be arranged; clothes dried and picnics prepared.Please Note: Parking available for guests.
