Pump Cottage is an attractive Edwardian house in two acres of grounds, set on the outskirts of Upwey - with its ancient wishing well. This small, friendly B&B offers a high standard of comfortable accommodation in a peaceful setting, with outstanding views over the surrounding countryside. We are situated near the Inner S.W Coast Path, surrounded by Wey Valley Walks, and cater especially for walkers and cyclists, with secure undercover storage for bicycles and drying and hosing-down facilities. We have a good supply of maps and local information, and can always arrange collection/transportationof luggage (or people!) if required. Our accommodation consists of one twin-bedded and one double bedroom (both en suite) and one double with private bathroom. We use fresh, local produce, wherever possible, in our cooking and try to provide an ample breakfast to cater for all tastes.

Weymouth is the complete coastal resort. From the town's beautiful crescent-shaped golden sandy beach, historic harbour, marina country park and nature reserve to the bustling, rejuvenated town centre, there's something for everyone. Sailing, golf, bowling, swimming - the list of opportunities for sport is endless. Attractions include the Timewalk and Brewery Days, Sea Life Centre, Deep Sea Adventure and Lodmoor Country Park. From the picturesque village of Abbotsbury one can visit the Sub-Tropical Gardens, the Swannery and the Abbotsbury Childrens Farm - this provides excellent activities for small children (inside and out). The bright, bustling and elegant market town of Dorchester is not only Dorset's county town, but is packed full of history, from the Romans to Thomas Hardy. Surrounded by broad, tree-lined walks, it's a great place to browse and shop. From dinosaurs to Tutankhamen and from teddy bears to Chinese warriors, you'll find them all in Dorchester.
